Who we are

The Roof Rev System is a brand run by its founders, and they operate this website, theroofrevsystem.com. Our contact address is 12675 Kentwood Avenue, Fort Myers, FL 33913.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Roof Rev System and its founders. This policy covers theroofrevsystem.com and email sent to any address at theroofrevsystem.com. It does not cover other websites, including any website you reach from a link on ours.

What we collect

This website is built to collect as little as possible. Here is everything it handles today.

The company name box. On the home page you can type your company name to see a sample website. When you press the button, your browser sends that name to our server, and the name also appears in the address of the page you land on. The sample website feature is not switched on yet, so our server does not store the name, does not pass it to anyone and shows a message that the site could not be built. Our server's own logs record only that a request was made and how it ended, never the name itself. The name stays in your browser history like any other page address, and Cloudflare, the company that delivers this website, processes the full page address while handling the request.

Email you send us. The site has no booking or contact form. If you want to talk to us, you send an email. When you do, we receive your email address, your name if your email shows it, and anything you choose to write, such as your company name, phone number or the area you work in.

Information sent by your browser. Like every website, ours receives some technical information each time your browser asks for a page: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser and device type, and the page that linked you to us, if any. Cloudflare processes this information to deliver the site and protect it from attacks and abuse.

Cookies and tracking. This website does not set any cookies of its own and does not use browser storage. It runs no analytics, advertising, social media or tracking tags, and its pages load files only from this website, fonts included. Cloudflare may in some cases set a short-lived security cookie of its own, for example when it checks whether a visit comes from a person or an automated program. That cookie is used only for that check, not for advertising or for following you across websites.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or health information.

How we use it

We use the email you send us to read it, answer you, and keep a record of our conversation with you. We use the technical information your browser sends only to deliver the site, keep it working and protect it from attacks and abuse.

We do not use your information to build a profile of you, to show you advertising, or to make automated decisions about you. We do not use personal information from this website or from your emails to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not sell or give it to anyone else for that purpose.

Who receives your information

Cloudflare delivers this website, protects it, and forwards email sent to any address at theroofrevsystem.com. Every message sent to our domain is forwarded to the mailboxes of The Roof Rev System's founders, where it is stored by the providers of those mailboxes. These providers handle your information to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our visitors, ourselves or others.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, also called targeted advertising. We have not done either in the past 12 months.

How long we keep it

Email you send us is kept for as long as we need it to answer you and then for 36 months after our last exchange with you, after which we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

The company name typed into the box on the home page is not stored by us at all.

We do not export or keep the technical information Cloudflare processes when delivering the site. Cloudflare keeps it for the periods its own policies set.

Your choices and your privacy rights

You can visit this website without giving us any information beyond what your browser sends. You choose whether to email us and what to put in that email.

Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale, its use for targeted advertising and certain kinds of profiling. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and a growing number of other states have some or all of these rights. We extend the same rights to every visitor, wherever you live in the United States.

Because we do not sell your information, use it for targeted advertising or profile anyone, there is nothing to opt out of on this website today. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing.

To make a request, email privacy@theroofrevsystem.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We will check that the request comes from you, usually by matching your email address with the one in our records, and we may ask you for a detail only you would know. We will answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why, and we may take up to 45 more days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you; we may ask the agent for proof of your permission and ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.

If we turn down your request, in whole or in part, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the word "Appeal" in the subject line. We will answer your appeal in writing within 60 days. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can contact the attorney general of your state.

We will not charge you or treat you differently for using any of these rights.

How we protect it

This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Its pages carry strict browser security rules that limit what outside code can run on them. Access to the mailboxes that receive your email is limited to our founders. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted. If we learn of a security breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

This website is for roofing businesses and the adults who run them. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email privacy@theroofrevsystem.com and we will delete it.

Where your information is processed

We are based in the United States. Cloudflare delivers this website from data centers around the world, so your request may be handled outside your state or country.

Changes to this policy

This policy describes the website as it is today. If we add a feature that collects more information, such as a booking form or a tool that builds a sample website from your company name, this policy will be updated first, before that feature goes live. The date at the top shows when the policy last changed. If a change affects information we already hold, we will post the change here before it takes effect.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where the privacy law of the state you live in gives you rights that cannot be waived.
